In your best Jamaican accent, say …..Oh no mon!! Don’t put chemicals in your storm drain.
While walking around the reservoir the other day, I strayed a little too close to a storm drain and triggered the automatic voice of this friendly Jamaican environmentalist who was dispensing all kinds of good advice. I’m afraid that you can’t hear his voice very well because of the wind. We brought the grandkids back to get their reaction. Hey, last weekend it was the Easter Bunny. This weekend it’s a Jamaican living in a storm drain. That’s going to be hard to top.
I’m giving all the credit to some P.R. genius. Maybe he could live in the CCM garbage can...."Oh no mon, don't through that plastic fork away. Wash it!!"

First Colorado Easter
Well, we officially had our first holiday in the new house. To complete my entire fantasy, of course, we had to have a BIG dining room table which arrived two days before Easter. The lucky first guests included Dave, Megan, Owen, Aliya and Megan's sister's family Karleen, Tim, Kyle and Ryan.
Before dinner we organized in a little friendly competition.

Seattle Grandkids - Easter and Birthday
No pizza party for this 4 year old!! Sarah requested a Mexican fiesta for her birthday party, complete with a pink sombrero. And don’t forget the singing and clapping waiters.
Hum. Sounds like Nicholas is applying a healthy dose of skepticism this year that the Easter Bunny can get past their security system. Sarah on the other hand is still eating it up.
