Dave and Megan had a Kentucky Derby Party, complete with a creative hat contest. Being my first social event in Denver, I took the assignment seriously. Woo Hoo!!! I won the prize for the only idiot who took the assignment seriously and wore a hat. Oh sure, a few 3 years olds had hats. My inventive creation paid tribute to Yankee Doodle Dandy, complete with a pony, feathers and macaroni. Not really something that goes with my other outfits.
